First five functions of the College

The functions of the Official College of Real Estate Agents of Alicante are:

  • Defender la profesión

  • Colaborar con el poder judicial

PROTECT AND DEFEND THE PROFESSION:

Before the Administration, Institutions, Courts, Entities and individuals, exercising criminal, civil, administrative or social actions, which are appropriate, in accordance with the Law.

Prepare its particular Statutes and modifications, submitting them to the approval of the corresponding bodies.

ALWAYS KEEP OUR MEMBERS INFORMED:

Report on projects or initiatives of legislative or executive bodies and any other organizations that require it.

Inform about the organizational rules of the educational centers corresponding to the profession.

Organize and promote activities of interest to members.

COLLABORATE WITH THE JUDICIAL POWER AND OTHER PUBLIC POWERS:

By carrying out studies, issuing reports, preparing statistics and other activities related to their purposes, which are requested or agreed upon on their own initiative.

ORGANIZE AND MANAGE EXPERT DESIGNATION SERVICES:

At the request of administrative bodies or judicial bodies

PARTICIPATE IN SUBJECTS OWN TO THE PROFESSION

In the advisory bodies of Administration, as well as in interprofessional organizations.

The functions of the Official College of Real Estate Agents of Alicante are:

REPRESENT THE PROFESSION

In Social Councils and University Boards of Trustees, in the terms established in the regulations that regulate them.

FACILITATING ACCESS TO THE PROFESSIONAL LIFE OF GRADUATES

Through training and professional development courses.

Putting companies and graduates in contact.

Insuring members with civil liability insurance.

HONOR THE PROFESSION

Ensuring professional ethics and dignity, and due respect for the rights of individuals, ensuring that members comply with legal and statutory provisions insofar as they affect the profession.

Exercise disciplinary power in the professional and collegiate order.

Ensure harmony and collaboration among the members, preventing unfair competition between them, as well as illicit advertising.

EXERCISE ARBITRATION FUNCTIONS

Intervene, upon request, through conciliation or arbitration in matters that, for professional reasons, arise between the members, or between them and their clients.

Resolve any discrepancies that may arise in relation to the professional performance of the members and the receipt of their fees, through an award to which the interested parties expressly submit in advance.

VISA PROFESSIONAL WORKS OF MEMBERS

Accrediting authorship and belonging to the College.

Any other functions that benefit the interests of the profession and its members.
